Term and Policy

1. Cancellation & Early Termination Policy

“Guests may cancel their stay only as per the cancellation rules mentioned at the time of booking. Early termination of stay without providing the required notice period will result in forfeiture of the security deposit. No partial refunds are provided for mid-month exits.”

2. Notice Period for Move-Out

“A minimum 30-day written notice is required before move-out. Notice will be considered valid only when submitted through our app/official email.”

3. Late Rent Payment Policy

“Rent must be paid on or before the 5th of every month. A late fee of ₹__100_ per day will be charged after the due date. Continuous non-payment may result in termination of stay.”

4. Check-In and Check-Out Timings

"No check-in check out timing.”

5. Room Inspection & Damage Assessment

“All rooms will be inspected at moving-in and moving-out. Any damage beyond normal wear and tear will be charged from the security deposit based on actual repair or replacement cost.”

6. Deposit Refund Timeline

“The security deposit will be refunded within 30 working days after the guest vacates, subject to clearance of all dues and successful room inspection.”

7. Utilities & Fair Usage Policy

“Electricity, water, and internet services are subject to fair usage limits. Excessive usage may incur additional charges as per actual consumption.”

8. Visitor & Overnight Guest Policy

“Visitors are allowed only during designated hours. Overnight stays are strictly prohibited without prior approval and applicable charges.”

9. Sub-letting & Sharing Policy

“Guests are strictly prohibited from sub-letting, sharing, or transferring their room/bed to any other person without written permission from the management.”

10. Behaviour, Conduct & Eviction Rules

“Engaging in disruptive behaviour, harassment, illegal activities, physical violence, or repeated violation of community rules may result in immediate eviction without refund.”

11. Maintenance & Service Response Time

“All maintenance requests must be raised through our app. Minor issues will be attended within 24–48 hours, and major issues within a reasonable timeframe depending on severity.”

12. Landlord/Staff Entry Rights

“Management may enter rooms for maintenance, safety checks, or emergencies with prior notice. In emergency situations, prior notice may not be possible.”

13. Liability & Personal Belongings

“The property is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings. Guests are advised to securely store valuable items.”

14. Safety & Emergency Policy

“Guests must follow all safety rules, including fire safety guidelines. Misuse of safety equipment such as fire extinguishers or alarms will result in penalties.”

15. Force Majeure Clause

“The company will not be liable for delays or failure to provide services due to events beyond control, including natural disasters, legal restrictions, strikes, or pandemics.”

16. Privacy & Data Handling

“Personal information collected for booking and verification will be securely stored and used only for operational purposes. Guests may request correction or deletion of their data as permitted by law.”

17. Modification of Terms

“The company reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Policies at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website/app and will apply from the date of publication.”

18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

“All terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.”

What is the booking process?

Bookings are confirmed only after the booking amount is paid. The booking amount is non-refundable but will be adjusted toward the first month’s rent. All dues, including rent, deposit, and service charges, must be paid on the same day or before shifting into the property. All payments must be made only through card, UPI, or net banking — cash payments are not accepted.
Payment receipts (online or offline) should be retained by the tenant for verification.

Rent must be paid on or before the 1st of every month. Payments can be made easily through the Liv In Out App using UPI, card, or net banking. Late payments may attract penalties or affect your stay continuation

Yes, the deposit will be refunded after vacating the property, after deducting: Any pending rent or dues Maintenance or repair charges, if applicable Refunds are processed within months time after inspection and clearance.

Check-in is allowed only after full payment and valid photo ID verification (Aadhaar, Passport, etc.). KYC completion through the Liv In Out App is mandatory before check-in. A 30-day prior notice is required before check-out. Early exit without notice result in full deduction of the deposit.

What are the property rules?

Smoking, alcohol, or illegal activities are strictly prohibited inside the premises. Maintain cleanliness and respect other residents. Visitors are allowed only during approved hours; overnight guests require prior permission. Any damage or violation will be charged accordingly.

All complaints or service requests must be submitted only through the Liv In Out App. The app allows you to: Raise and track complaints Pay rent online Download payment receipts Complete KYC Request rent agreements or other documents Complaints made through phone, WhatsApp, or verbally will not be recorded or tracked officially.

Cancellations before check-in will incur a 100% Booking fee. Once the room is confirmed, the booking amount becomes non-refundable but is adjusted toward rent upon check-in. No refunds are provided after check-in.

Maintenance issues can be raised only through the Liv In Out App under the Raise Complaint section. Most issues are resolved within 24–48 hours, depending on priority.
Tenants must allow access for repair or inspection as required.

What happens if I violate rules or don’t pay rent?

Liv In Out reserves the right to terminate accommodation for misconduct, non-payment, or violation of house rules. In such cases, no refund or compensation will be provided.

Your data is securely stored and never shared with unauthorized parties.
